Today, I worked on measuring the borders to get it ready to be cut and I worked on drawing the layout on the boards. So it is officially decided now that my medium size board will become my new small and the large one will become my new medium. The old sizes were just too small for the fine details I wanted. Of course now I will need to get a new large board too. Also, my teacher was kind enough to get me brown glass beer bottles!!! They were exactly what I needed to create a mosaic. At the moment, they are soaking in a bucket of water. That way the labels can come off easier. It was really awkward though to be cleaning beer bottles around other students.
