"Who I Honor" Process 2

Recently, I have been looking into what medium to work with. I wanted to try something new, but still have the piece relate to a mural. So my idea is to create a mosaic mural with plates. I'm thinking about heading to some thrift stores, like Urban Renewals to get cheap plates.

Materials:

• Plates
• Grout
• Tile adhesive
• 12"x18" board
• 12"x24" board
• 12"x30" Board

My next steps are to create final sketches for the piece and find an image of the person I honor.
