Studio 4 Documentation 3 (Uncompleted piece #1)

     Over the last week, I have been working on gluing the cups together as well as turning the cups into a form I want. What remains to complete my piece are the food that's going on the platform and the protective covering that will go over the platform to prevent water from seeping into the foam core.
     I have had many challenges with this project. The biggest was finding the right kind of glue for sticking cups together. I am now using a glue gun. Another issue was the form of the cups. I had no model holding the cups up while I was gluing, so many of them came out twisting the wrong way. When I tested the handmade tube, water leaked out! Ms. Aldarondo gave me the awesome suggestion of using a thin metal rod as a spine for the tube. She also suggested that I cut the cups in half to create tighter curves. Now the process is going much faster and smoother. However, I still have a lot to do.
